This poem isn’t about romance, it's about recognising that you have a unique voice. It’s about letting go and having the courage to wear your heart on your sleeve. We are all wild and untamed. We are magical beings that are deep and complicated. That's why we make art and we create and we love, to try and understand ourselves and our place in this world. We often feel out of control, that’s because we try and control everything. We can’t be controlled, the universe can’t be pushed and pulled into submission. We are meant to feel and to break because we are wild beings. We are nature. We are unpredictable, amazing, wondrous, magical, ever-changing, expansive, and creative wild animals.

This poem inspired my newest collection of fairies and ceramics. Here is a sneak peek of the collection that will be available on September 4th at 5 pm (AEST Brisbane time).
